Pierrick Hanlet
Bass-Baritone
Pierrick joined St Charles Singers in 1996. He was raised in California and Arkansas. His hometown of Atkins, Arkansas is known as the home of "Fried Dill Pickles".
Pierrick graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (that's SUNYSB for you Yankees) with a B.S. in Physics. He earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Virginia and is currently a physicist at Fermilab and Rutherford Appleton Lab in Oxforshire, England. He is a lecturer at Illinois Institute of Technology.
Pierrick has been a member of the Elgin Opera and the Festive Singers. He is a church cantor and has participated in opera workshops and musical theatre. His favorite composers are Puccini and Verdi.
Pierrick is married with three children. For fun he enjoys rugby and auto mechanics.
