Chuck joined St Charles Singers in 2000. His childhood took him to San Jose, California, Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Wheaton, Illinois. Chuck says that Jim Belushi asked his sister out on a date and she said "No". Turns out that Jim and his sister were classmates in school together at Wheaton Central High School in Wheaton, Illinois.
Chuck is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and Northern Illinois University. He holds a degree in Music and History. He expects to finish up his graduate degree "soon". Chuck is self-described as a "classical singer and itinerant goofball".
Chuck has been seen in twelve Lyric Opera of Chicago productions. He has sung with the Chicago Symphony Chorus since 1998, Opera for the Young, Grant Park Chorus and Ravinia.
His favorite composers include "dead Germans and a slew of others". He is also fond of world music. Aside from music he enjoys sleeping, movies, books and conjugating verbs incorrectly.
Chuck has been married to Valerie (also in the choir) since 1997. His brother has 8 children..."don't you think that's enough for both of us?"
